I'm Suraksha, and often go by Suki. My pronouns are she/her.
I'm an Engineering Manager working mainly with the C#/.Net tech stack, alongside SQL Server, AWS, K8s, and small bits of React.js. My management readme is here.
I currently live in Calgary, Canada. Previously, I lived in New York City, I call New Zealand home, and I was born in Bangalore, India.
My favourite job was being a team lead of graduate developers. I loved mentoring, coaching, and helping them acclimatise to a workplace environment.
I'm married to an academic - he's a research professor specialising in hardware security and also shares a passion in teaching and mentoring. Check out his work here!
I enjoy cooking, fiber arts (crochet, knitting, cross stitch), reading, playing video games (but not FPSs), watching shows.

My cat, Jelly basically rules the household these days, but its ok because she's very cute!
I enjoy coffee - drinking it, making it, learning about it. I spent a lot of time in my uncle's coffee roastery in Bangalore growing up, so its always been a part of me.
I'm a big fan of llamas. I have no idea how the admiration began but its now somehow become a part of my personal brand.
