I've always thought the people doing live sketch notes at tech conferences were so cool. Recently, I've been working on improving my technical communication, but I was finding it hard to motivate myself to write long form blog posts. So I'm giving tech sketch notes a go!
All the notes are drawn by me using Procreate on iPad.
This one has been a work-in-progress for quite a while. Almost 2 years ago, my team ran into this N+1 queries issue on our DB, and I kept wanting to come up with an analogy to explain why it was so bad. Here is finally is!

A while ago, a non-engineer colleague asked me for a high level explanation of this "K8s thing that everyone keeps talking about". So naturally I had to come up with a way to explain it with llamas.
